In 2007 Jonathan competed in a bio-ethanol fuelled 'green' Aston Martin DBRS9 race car with Lord Paul Drayson & Barwell Motorsport in the British GT Championship. Jonny & Paul came 2nd overall in the British GT Championship achieving 2 race wins, 3 second and 3 third place finishes, with the championship coming down to the wire at Rockingham in the final race.

One of the highlights of Jonny's year was being invited to be a full member of the BRDC.

In 2008 Jonny will be racing with Lord Paul Drayson but this time they are movng across the waters to the American Le Mans Series racing in a new team Aston Martin Racing Drayson-Barwell in the new Aston Martin Vantage GT2 bio-fuelled car with factory support.

2006 proved a fruitful year for Jonathan with a total of 14 podiums out of 18 races split over two championships (6 wins, 6 2nds & 2 3rds). Jonny achieved 2nd in the Aston Cup championship with Leo Machitsky as his partner and 3rd in the British GT Championship after competing in selective rounds. Leo went on to win the GT3 title with Jonny's support.

2005 was another fantastic year for Jonathan who became the youngest ever Porsche Infineon Carrera Cup Asia Champion at the final round in Macau in November 05. Again achieving 8 podiums, 3 wins, 3 2nds & 1 3rd place finish.

2004 was an amazing year for Jonathan when he became the youngest ever British GT Champion at at just 18 years old successfully achieving 14 podiums out of 16 races including 6 wins, 5 second and 3 third places. Jonny won the Championship at Thruxton with two races still remaining. At the final round at Brands Hatch, Tim Sugden took second place in the Championship and GruppeM took the team honours.
