JONNY HAS IMPRESSIVE PAGE IN ASTON GT1 CAR DEBUT AT PAUL RICARD
Jonny Cocker made a very impressive GT1 debut in a factory AMR DBR9, during a short run in difficult damp conditions on Saturday. Jonny set the quickest lap time by over 2.7 seconds to beat the best other driver. Barwell's Mark Lemmer was very impressed by what he saw; "It was great to see Jonny set some very competitive times in the GT1 car, he did a great job after only eight laps in tricky conditions."

Jonny and Barwell Motorsport have just returned from a successful 2-day exclusive Aston Martin teams test at Paul Ricard. Two damp mornings and dry afternoons gave them plenty of different experience during the test as Barwell continued to work on car set-up. Jonny Cocker was on duty for the team in Paul Drayson's car and set the joint-fastest GT3 time of the test on Saturday even though he was running on Avon's rather than Michelins.
