Won the 2004 British GT Championship outright with six wins, five second places
and three third place finishes, resulting in fourteen podiums out of sixteen races.
Is the youngest ever British GT Champion at just 18 years of age as well as being
the youngest ever World GT Champion.
Nominated for Autosport Club Racing Driver of the Year
Awarded "Rising Star" status by the BRDC (British Racing Drivers' Club).
This
is a special award which is only given to up and coming future stars in the
sport.
Took part in two FIA GT races, the first of which was at Donington where he achieved a 3rd place finish. Was the youngest and also the only ever competitor to achieve a podium in his first FIA race. Competed in the Spa 24 hour race where the team raced for fourteen hours in 3rd place until a gearbox failure put an end to their race.
Invited by Porsche to be a VIP guest driver in the Asia Carrera Cup race which supported the first ever Grand Prix at the new circuit in
Shanghai, China. Qualified fourth and
had a superb battle to win the race.
Is the first and only British driver to
have won a race at this new circuit
in Shanghai.
